World Cup 2023: Players have been selected for the World Cup 2023. The ICC World Cup 2023 will be played in India in the month of October November. The team has been announced late night for the World Cup qualifier match.
The United States of America cricket team selection panel has announced a 15-man squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup CWC 2023 Qualifier match, starting June 18 in Zimbabwe. A total of 10 teams will participate in the qualifier match.
Group A has West Indies, Zimbabwe, Netherlands, Nepal and USA. While Group B includes teams from Sri Lanka, Ireland, Scotland, Oman and UAE. All these teams will compete with each other for the last two spots in the ICC World Cup 2023 to be held in India.
Left-arm fast bowler Abhishek Paradkar has been named in the United States’ squad for their World Cup qualifiers in Zimbabwe. Apart from this, 14 other players have been included from the same team which helped them win the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier Playoff in Namibia in the month of April.

Monank Patel (Captain & Wicket-keeper), Aaron Jones (Vice-Captain), Shayan Jahangir (Wicket-keeper), Nostush Kenjige, Ali Khan, Sushant Modani, Sai Mukkamalla, Saurabh Netrawalkar. Abhishek Paradkar, Nisarg Patel, Kyle Phillip, Usman Rafiq, Gajanand Singh, Jesse Singh, Steven Taylor.
This is how the qualifier match will be played
Each team will play the other teams in its group in the qualifier matches. The top 3 from each group will advance to the Super Six stage. In the Super Six, those teams will get a chance to play which did not get in the group stage. All points won in the group stage will be carried forward to the Super Six stage in addition to points scored against teams that fail to make it to the Super Six stage.
After the Super Six stage, both the teams will play the final. These two teams will come to join for the World Cup 2023 to be held in India. For the first time in this tournament, DRS will be used in all the matches for the Super Six stage. The Super Six matches will start from June 29.
